St. Moritz Museums, Tower and Viewpoints
Sightseeing in St. Moritz splits into museums in the village and viewpoints on the mountains. The museums keep seasonal hours and each one closes for a stretch in autumn, so the dates below matter more than they would in a city. Prices are in Swiss francs (CHF).
Segantini Museum
The Segantini Museum at Via Somplaz 30 in St. Moritz Dorf is dedicated to Giovanni Segantini, an Italian painter. The museum occupies a purpose-built building from 1908. It is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00, with last admission at 16:45, and it is closed on Mondays. The seasons run from 20 May to 20 October and from 10 December to 12 April, so the next opening is 10 December 2026. It is also closed on 1 January, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Whit Sunday and 25 December.
Adult tickets cost CHF 15, students aged 16 to 25 pay CHF 10, youth aged 6 to 16 pay CHF 3 and children under 6 enter free. Groups of 10 or more pay CHF 12, CHF 8 and CHF 3. Hours are on segantini-museum.ch .
Museum Engiadinais
The Museum Engiadinais is in St. Moritz Bad at Via dal Bagn 39. The building dates from 1906. The museum is closed from 19 October to 5 December 2026 and reopens on 6 December 2026, then opens Thursday to Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00. Admission is CHF 15 or CHF 10, and children and young people up to 16 enter free. Current hours are on museum-engiadinais.ch .
Berry Museum
The Berry Museum is in Villa Arona at Via Arona 32. It opens Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 18:00 and is closed at weekends. Entry is CHF 15 and includes an audio guide, and children up to 12 enter free. The summer season ran from 15 June to 23 October 2026 and the winter season starts on 14 December 2026. Details are on berrymuseum.com .
The Leaning Tower
The Leaning Tower (Schiefer Turm) is the surviving tower of the old Church of St. Mauritius. The church itself was demolished, so there is a tower to see and no church interior.
Viewpoints above the town
Piz Nair reaches about 3,056 m and is served from the Corviglia funicular base in St. Moritz Dorf. The funiculars had a major overhaul in summer 2026, so check opening before planning a winter ride. Muottas Muragl at 2,456 m has a 1907 funicular and a terrace. Corvatsch (3,303 m) and Diavolezza (2,978 m) are higher still, with summer returns at CHF 64 and CHF 46. Diavolezza closes after 15 November 2026 until winter.
Seasonal planning
Late October to early December is the quietest stretch for museums: the Museum Engiadinais reopens on 6 December, the Segantini Museum on 10 December and the Berry Museum winter season starts on 14 December. In winter, check each museum’s opening before you travel. The lifts and the pool at OVAVERVA, which is open all year, fill the gap on short stays.
