Paphos District Attractions and Tours
Attractions in Paphos District fall into three groups: family parks, boat trips and guided excursions, and the ticketed archaeological sites. All prices are 2026 figures in euros.
Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark
The waterpark is the largest water attraction in the west of the island, on the coastal strip east of Kato Paphos harbour. It has slides, a lazy river and a wave pool. Seasons and ticket prices change from year to year, so look at the official site before you plan the day. Take a hat and sunscreen, because summer afternoons in Paphos are very hot.
Pafos Zoo
Pafos Zoo is at Agios Georgios, near Peyia, about 15 km north-west of Paphos town. It is a car or taxi trip. Opening times and prices are on the zoo website , and they differ by season. Allow half a day.
Boat trips
Boat trips leave from two harbours. At Kato Paphos harbour you will find glass-bottom boats and catamaran cruises along the coast. At Latchi, about 40 km north, the Blue Lagoon cruises last roughly 2.5 to 3 hours and fares start from about EUR 20 for an adult. Nafsika II is a listed Latchi cruise boat. Do not assume that self-drive motorboats are licence-free: ask the operator before you book.
Guided 4x4 tours of the Akamas
The Akamas peninsula has cliff-edge dirt tracks that are steep and unpaved. Quad and buggy accidents have been reported, one of them fatal in 2021. Standard rental insurance generally excludes unpaved tracks, so check your contract. If you want to see the peninsula, a guided 4x4 tour with a professional driver or a boat trip is the safer way.
