Evenings out
Dufferin Terrace and the lanes of Petit-Champlain and Place Royale are best after dark, when the crowds thin. The Québec-Lévis ferry crosses in about 12 minutes from near the Musée de la civilisation and gives a view of the lit skyline from the water. There are no reservations, and the adult foot-passenger fare was about 4.25 CAD on the operator’s fares page, and fares rose slightly in April 2026. Since spring 2026 the winter timetable has run all year, so check the current departure times. See the ferry fares .
