Antwerp Attraction Tours: Museums, Tickets
Antwerp’s headline attractions run on timed slots, so the order you book them in matters. Below, the main museums and experiences come with what each one costs. Prices are in euros and are worth a quick check on the official site before you pay.
KMSKA, the fine arts museum
KMSKA on Leopold de Waelplaats in Het Zuid is the big one: adults pay €20, under-26s €10, and under-18s go in free. A timed slot must be reserved online even if entry is free for you. It opens daily from 10:00 to 17:00, stays open to 22:00 on Thursdays for KMSKA Late, and runs to 18:00 on weekends and holidays. It holds a large Rubens gallery and the world’s biggest collection of James Ensor. Book at kmska.be .
MoMu, the fashion museum
Antwerp earned its fashion name through the Antwerp Six, the 1980s designers who trained at the Royal Academy. MoMu on Nationalestraat is open, with The Antwerp Six running from 28 March 2026 to 17 January 2027 and LOOKS, LOOKS, LOOKS from 11 July to 8 November 2026. Opening is until 18:00 with last entry at 17:00. Ticket prices are listed at momu.be .
Red Star Line Museum
At Montevideostraat 3 in the Eilandje, this museum follows the emigrants who left for America from these docks. It is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00. Tickets are timed, online only, and cost €10, or €12 when a temporary exhibition is on. A new show, Between Languages, opens on 20 November 2026. Details at redstarline.be .
MAS and the chocolate experience
The MAS museum costs €12 (€8 for ages 18 to 25, free under 18) and needs a timed slot, but its rooftop panorama is free and the building is closed Mondays. Chocolate Nation, opposite Centraal station at Koningin Astridplein 7, is open daily from 09:30 to 18:30 and costs about €19.90 for adults, with ten chocolate tastings along the route. DIVA, the diamond and silver museum on Suikerrui, is the place to learn how Antwerp became a trading centre; Antwerp handles most of the world’s rough diamonds, though the cutting is done elsewhere. Check its own site for hours.
Cathedral of Our Lady
At €12 for adults, the cathedral is the most direct way to see Rubens altarpieces painted for the building. Weekend hours are shorter: Saturday 10:00 to 15:00 and Sunday 13:00 to 17:00. Children under 18 are free.
Passes and booking order
The Antwerp City Pass is sold at about €45 for 24 hours, €55 for 48 hours and €65 for 72 hours; add up your own list before buying, since KMSKA needs a reserved slot either way. To compare guided options for the same sights, browse Antwerp tours on Viator . For time away from the museums, the Antwerp day trips page covers the towns within an hour or two.
Tip: reserve KMSKA first, since its slots go fastest on weekends, and fit the free MAS rooftop into whatever gap is left in the evening.
