Tours and Attractions near Árnafjørður
Árnafjørður is a quiet village of about 64 people on Borðoy, and it has no tour operator, ticket desk or paid attraction. There is nothing to book on the spot. The village is the start of a hike and a place to stop for the fjord view, and organised excursions run out of Klaksvík, which is about 10 minutes away by car along route 70.
What to expect in the village
You will find a white church with a red roof beside the Stórá river, a row of boat houses at the shore, a small beach and parking. There is no shop, cafe or public toilet, so plan food and a stop in Klaksvík before you drive out. The roadside pull-off between the two new tunnels gives the best view of the fjord and costs nothing.
