Seville Multi-Day Plans: 3 to 5 Days
Seville repays three to five days, but no organised multi-day tour packages are worth quoting here. The reliable approach is to plan the sequence yourself from real sights and a handful of train rides.
Day one: the imperial core
Reserve the Alcázar for 09:30 on alcazarsevilla.org at about €15.50, then visit the Cathedral and Giralda (€13 online) via catedraldesevilla.es . Add the free Archivo General de Indias, and finish with tapas in Santa Cruz.
Day two: river, Triana and Setas
Walk to the Torre del Oro, cross into Triana for the ceramics and the market, then visit Casa de Pilatos (€12 ground floor). Watch the sun set from the Setas mirador, where tickets start from €16.
Day three: Expo and art
Spend the morning at Plaza de España and the Parque de María Luisa, and visit the Museo de Bellas Artes when the heat peaks. End with flamenco in Triana, where small tablaos start around €22 to €25.
Days four and five: stretch beyond the city
The Córdoba AVE takes about 40 to 45 minutes and makes a full day with the Mezquita (€15). For day five choose Cádiz by train in about 1h35 to 1h45, or take the M-124 bus to Carmona and a bus to Itálica, which is closed on Mondays. Time the trains on renfe.com .
Where to sleep
Santa Cruz and El Arenal put you within walking distance of the main sights. Compare rooms on Booking.com and look for places with air conditioning from May to September.
Dates that change the plan
Semana Santa 2027 runs from Palm Sunday on 21 March to Easter Sunday on 28 March, and the city fills with processions. The Feria de Abril is expected from 13 to 18 April 2027, with the lighting on the night of 12 April. Rooms during both periods cost more and sell out early.
Money and bookings
Budget for the big three: about €15.50 for the Alcázar, €13 online for the Cathedral and Giralda, and from €16 for the Setas. Reduced prices apply to over-65s and students, and under-13s enter the Alcázar and Cathedral free with an adult. The Cathedral also has a free Sunday visit between 16:30 and 18:00 with an online reservation, which is a useful way to save one ticket in a longer stay.
Non-EU visitors are registered at the border under the EU Entry/Exit System, live since 10 April 2026, and ETIAS is not yet required. Check the official EU travel site before you fly.
Choosing the length
Three days cover the headline sights comfortably. Add a fourth for Córdoba and a fifth for Cádiz. Use the three-day itinerary and the four-day itinerary as a skeleton, and see day trips for transport detail. Tip: put the Córdoba day on a Monday or Tuesday, and keep Sunday afternoon for the Cathedral’s free slot.
