Day Trips From Manila: 4 Places to Go
Pick one day trip, not two. Manila’s road network turns a nominally short drive into a two-hour crawl during the 7-9am and 4-8pm windows, and every route below runs long enough on its own to fill a full day out and back.
Tagaytay ridge and Taal Lake
Tagaytay sits 55 to 65 kilometers south, about two hours by car or bus (₱70 to ₱200 from PITX or Buendia terminals). The draw is the caldera view over Lake Taal and its volcano island from the ridge itself. Corregidor Island

Mt. Pinatubo crater lake
