Colo-i-Suva’s secluded upper pools are the honest budget option: a hike to clear emerald freshwater pools fringed by tree ferns and orchids, with no entry fee competing for your attention. It works precisely because nobody has tried to make it Instagram-ready, and a weekday morning visit, ahead of the local families who use the park on weekends, gets you the pools close to yourselves.
The Coral Coast’s outdoor spa pavilions, at properties like the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort’s hilltop Bebe Spa, use local coconut oil and Pure Fiji botanicals in open-air treatments, and this is one case where paying the boutique-resort premium is worth it over a generic in-room massage.
