Day 1: Arrival & Sightseeing
- Morning: Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Check-in at your hotel (recommended: Dwarika’s Hotel or Hyatt Regency Kathmandu)
- Afternoon: Visit Durbar Square - the historic seat of royalty in Nepal, explore its architectural beauty and temples like Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Taleju Temple, and Kumari Ghar (the home of the living goddess).
- Evening: Stroll around Thamel - Kathmandu’s tourist hub with restaurants, shops, and nightlife. Enjoy a Nepali Thali meal at Seto Machan.
- Things to Know: Kathmandu is at an altitude of 1350m, so take it easy on your first day to acclimatize. Carry small Nepalese currency (rupees) as larger notes may not be accepted everywhere.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing
- Morning: Visit Bouddhanath, one of the largest stupas in the world and a sacred Buddhist site. Explore its surroundings, filled with monasteries, Tibetan shops, and locals spinning prayer wheels.
- Afternoon: Head to Pashupatinath, a renowned Hindu temple complex on the banks of Bagmati River. Witness the religious rituals and cremation ceremonies if you’re respectful and discreet.
- Evening: Relax at Patan Durbar Square, the city of Patan, known for its rich history and fine artistry in metalwork and stone carving. Don’t miss the Krishna Mandir and Hiranya Verna Mahavihar.
- Dinner: Try traditional Newari cuisine at Newa Bhojanalaya or Kumari Mitho Ko Machan.
Day 3: Day Trip to Bhaktapur & Changunarayan

Day 4: Departure
