Cable car and museums
The Kölner Seilbahn crosses the Rhine between the zoo and Rheinpark from mid-March to early November only; check current hours on koelner-seilbahn.de before planning around it, since it does not run in winter. Adult fare is €5.50 one way or €9.50 return. Old Town and beer culture
An Altstadt walk ties the tours together on foot: Alter Markt, Groß St. Martin and the Historic City Hall are all within a few minutes of each other, and a stop at a traditional Brauhaus for Kölsch and a Halve Hahn works as a natural break between sights.
Beyond the center
