Trakai Attraction Tours and Museum Tickets
A ticket to Trakai Island Castle also buys entry to eleven separate exhibition halls, which is more structured content than most visitors budget time for, and it is only the first of several genuinely ticketed attractions in town worth planning around rather than squeezing in.
Trakai History Museum, inside the Island Castle
The centerpiece: eleven halls of Grand Duchy weaponry, armor, coin hoards and historical documents inside the ducal palace, priced at €14 for adults and €7 reduced from April through September, dropping to €12 and €6 from October through March, with free admission on the last Sunday of every month. Sacral Art Exhibition, Peninsula Castle
Inside the restored Dominican Monastery chapel at the Peninsula Castle ruins, this exhibition holds 17th- to 19th-century church monstrances, vestments and a rare 1709 wax seal. It is included in the combined €17 Island-and-Peninsula ticket, so buy that version if the Sacral Art rooms interest you at all rather than paying for the Island Castle alone.
Užutrakis Manor Palace interior
Beyond the park grounds, the Neo-Classical palace itself opens Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 to 19:00, with restored Louis XVI-style staterooms and the White Ballroom. Group guided tours run around €90 and are booked through the Trakai Tourism Information Centre; individual tickets are sold at the palace door. The estate’s own site has current hours.
The Seraya Shapshal Karaim exhibition
A specialized branch of the Trakai History Museum on Karaimų Street, this ticketed exhibition displays the ethnography, textiles and Crimean weapons bequeathed by Karaite spiritual leader Hadji Seraya Khan Shapshal, a rare structured look at Karaite heritage beyond the street-level architecture. Narrated boat cruises and hot air balloons
Mindaugo Laivai runs 30- and 60-minute narrated cruises past the 21 islands of Lake Galvė for €5 to €10 per person, with multilingual audio commentary; its own site lists current departures. For an aerial version of the same view, Ballooning.lt’s Trakai flight runs sunrise and sunset flights over the castle for roughly €150 to €220, weather permitting.

Prioritize the Island Castle museum and the combined ticket over the Sacral Art rooms alone; treat Užutrakis Palace and the Shapshal exhibition as second-visit additions, and save the balloon flight for a morning with a confirmed clear forecast rather than booking it on your only day in town.
