Mount Fuji (Fujisan)
- Location: Owakudani and Kawaguchiko are two popular spots in Fujiyoshida from where you can view Mount Fuji.

- Access: Both Owakudani and Kawaguchiko can be reached by public transportation, including the Fujikyu Railway from Otsuki Station or buses from Shinjuku.
Owakudani
- Attractions: Owakudani is a volcanic valley with hot springs and sulphur vents. Don’t miss the chance to try the black eggs, which are boiled in the hot springs!
- Warning: The area has active sulphur fumaroles and occasional small eruptions. Always follow safety guidelines when visiting.
Kawaguchiko

- Crowds: Peak seasons (summer and cherry blossom season) can be very crowded. Consider visiting during off-peak hours or days for a more peaceful experience.
- Food: Try local specialties such as Houtou (a hot, thick noodle soup), Fujiyoshida Yamanashi beef, and fresh lake fish at the many restaurants in Kawaguchiko.
