Welcome to Sagarmatha Zone! While this region is predominantly mountainous and home to the majestic Mount Everest, it does offer a variety of water activities for the adventurous traveler.
- Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve (Water Activities Available)
Located in the southeastern part of Sagarmatha Zone, Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve is famous for its diverse wildlife and birdwatching opportunities. Boat tours are available on the Koshi River, where you can spot Gharial crocodiles, Bengal tigers, and various species of waterbirds.
- Arun River Rafting (Water Activities Available)
The Arun River, originating from the Melungtse Himalaya in Tibet, offers thrilling white-water rafting experiences for those seeking an adrenaline rush.
