- Boquete Highlands: Home to volcanic landscapes, cloud forests, waterfalls, and coffee plantations. Notable trails include the Los Quetzales Trail (for spotting the resplendent quetzal bird), and the Pipeline Road, one of the most biodiverse places on earth.
- Soberania National Park: Located on the Panama Canal, this park offers a variety of hiking trails, ranging from easy to challenging. Keep an eye out for monkeys, sloths, and toucans!
🌊 Whitewater Rafting & Kayaking:
- Chiriquí Province: Chiriqui Viejo River and the Tuquesa River offer Class III-IV rapids for thrill-seekers.
- Bocas del Toro Archipelago: The rapids of the Rio Piñas and the Rio Tigre provide exciting kayaking adventures amidst lush rainforests.

- Gatun National Park & the Panama Canal: A great place for birdwatching, with species like the Great Green Macaw, Scarlet Macaw, and Toucans common. Keep an eye out for monkeys too!
