Day 1 - Explore Bahir Dar City and Lake Tana:

  • Visit the Blue Nile Falls (Tis Issat), about 25 km from Bahir Dar city. The falls are most impressive during the rainy season (June to August).
  • In the afternoon, take a boat trip on Lake Tana to visit ancient monasteries like Ura Kidane Mehret, Azwa Mariam, and Debre Maryam.

Day 2 - Visit the Zenema Village and Blue Nile River:

Day 3 - Visit Gorgora Monastery and Debre Sina Mikael:

  • In the afternoon, visit Debre Sina Mikael, another beautiful monastery located on Zeghe Peninsula.
