  1. Greetings: A firm handshake is customary upon meeting someone. When greeting an elder or a person of higher status, use both hands to shake their right hand and lean slightly forward.

  2. Dress Code: Modest dress is appreciated, especially when visiting religious sites. Avoid shorts, miniskirts, and bare shoulders for both men and women.

  3. Temple Etiquette: Remove your shoes before entering Buddhist temples and mosques. Also, dress modestly. Women should cover their heads with a shawl or scarf in some mosques.
