Tsaghkadzor Water Activities Guide

  1. Kotayk Region Hydropark (H2O Tsakhkadzor Water Park)

    • Location: Just a short 5-minute drive from Tsaghkadzor’s center, along the main highway.
    • Activities: The park offers water slides, a swimming pool, and a children’s play area. It’s a great place to cool off during hot summer days.
    • Tips: Remember to bring your swimwear, sunscreen, and a change of clothes. There are facilities for lockers, showers, and food vendors on-site.

  2. Tsaghkadzor Rowing Base

    • Location: By the Kota Lake, about 1.5 km from Tsaghkadzor center.
    • Activities: Rent a rowboat or kayak for a leisurely paddle on the lake. It’s a peaceful experience that allows you to enjoy the surrounding beauty.
    • Tips: Rowing is best enjoyed in the mornings when the lake is calm. Wear comfortable, waterproof clothing and don’t forget your sunscreen!

    • Location: The rapids are found along the Hrazdan River, approximately 10 km from Tsaghkadzor center.
