🌋 Volcano Climbing: The Erta Ale Volcano is an active shield volcano located in the Afar Depression. It’s one of only a few places on Earth where you can observe a permanent lava lake. Remember to hire a local guide, as the trek can be dangerous and challenging.

🚲 Cycling: The Danakil Highway, also known as Africa’s toughest cycling route, is a challenging but exhilarating experience. It connects Mekele to Djibouti City, passing through the harsh yet beautiful landscapes of the Afar Region.
