- Ruwanwelisaya and Thuparama Dagobas: These are the first stupas built in Anuradhapura, with distinctive architectural styles that showcase ancient Sri Lankan craftsmanship.
- Jethavanaramaya Stupa: One of the largest stupas in the world and the fourth largest dagoba in Sri Lanka. It’s said to have been built around a tree under which the Buddha is believed to have rested during his visit to Anuradhapura.
