Is Paris walkable without a car?

Is Notre-Dame still worth visiting if it’s not free-flowing walk-up anymore? It’s actually the opposite story. It’s the one major sight on this list you genuinely don’t need to plan around.
Montmartre, the Marais and the Seine

Le Marais stays open on Sundays when most of the city shuts, and a Bateaux Parisiens Seine cruise, about EUR19 for an hour past Notre-Dame and the Louvre, is the lowest-effort way to see the riverside monuments from the water.

Le Marais and Saint-Germain-des-Pres put you within walking distance of most of the city’s core, the Marais for the Louvre’s back door and Sunday shopping, Saint-Germain for Musee d’Orsay and Luxembourg Gardens.
