4-Day Itinerary for Exploring Zimbabwe (Markdown Format)

Day 1: Arrival and Victoria Falls

  • Arrival: Harare International Airport is the main port of entry. You can fly directly from various international destinations or connect via Johannesburg, South Africa. Check your visa requirements before travel. (Visa: Most nationalities require a tourist visa which can be obtained on arrival or online in advance)

  • Transportation: Taxis and car rental services are available at the airport. For the duration of your stay, consider renting a car for flexibility or booking guided tours.

  • Activity: Visit the majestic Victoria Falls! It’s one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. You can take a breathtaking helicopter ride over the falls or go on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. (Things to Know: Wear waterproof shoes and clothes, and bring a raincoat during the rainy season)

  • Overnight Stay: Victoria Falls Town offers a range of accommodations from luxury hotels to budget-friendly lodges.

Day 2: Chobe National Park and Kazungula Border

  • Transportation: Drive to Kazungula Border (approx. 3 hours from Victoria Falls) and cross into Botswana. Hire a vehicle or book a safari tour in Chobe National Park.

  • Activity: Spend the day on a game drive or river cruise in Chobe National Park, home to large herds of elephants and diverse wildlife. (Things to Know: Bring binoculars for spotting animals from a distance)
