Zambia 2 Day Itinerary

Day 1: Lusaka & Livingstone

Morning:

  • Arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (Lusaka) and transfer to the city center.
  • Visit Lusaka National Museum, a treasure trove of Zambia’s rich history and culture.
  • Explore the Thornicroft Gelada Monkey Sanctuary in the heart of Lusaka.

Afternoon:

  • Flight to Livingstone (approximately 1 hour).
  • Check-in at your hotel and freshen up for an afternoon adventure.
  • Visit the iconic Victoria Falls from the Zambian side. Don’t forget to take a raincoat or poncho as it can get wet!

Evening:

  • Sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River, where you might spot hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.
  • Enjoy a traditional African dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Visit the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, home to various wildlife species such as elephants, buffaloes, and hippos.

Evening:

  • Relax at your hotel or explore more of Livingstone’s nightlife.
