Yemen 3 Day Itinerary
Day 1: Sana’a City Exploration

Morning: Arrive at Sana’a International Airport. Complete visa formalities (Note: As of now, Yemen issues visas on arrival for tourists from some countries. Always check the latest requirements before travel.)

Afternoon: Visit the Old City of Sana’a, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its unique architectural style with intricate doors and walls adorned with geometric patterns. Don’t miss the Great Mosque of Al-Saberin and the famous Tower of Death (Sabirin).

Evening: Stroll through the local markets like Al-Thawra Street Market, Souk Al-Milh (Salt Market), and Souq Al-Hamidia to buy traditional Yemeni handicrafts, spices, and souvenirs. Try local dishes such as Salta (spicy stew) and Shaneeza (a sweet drink made from jasmine flowers).
Day 2: Journey to Dhamar

Morning: Travel to Dhamar (approx. 1.5 hours drive from Sana’a). Visit the beautiful Wadi Dhahr Hajr, a valley with towering limestone formations and natural pools.

Afternoon: Explore the ancient city of Ma’rib, once the capital of the Sabaean Kingdom. See the Ma’rib Dam, one of the oldest dams in the world, and the Temple of the Moon.

Evening: Return to Sana’a for an early dinner and rest.
Day 3: Exploring the Yemeni Coast

Morning: Travel to the Red Sea coast (approx. 4 hours drive from Sana’a). Visit the city of Hodeidah, a significant port city with rich history dating back to ancient times.

Afternoon: Explore the old city of Hodeidah, including the Turkish Ottoman Castle and the historic mosques. Relax on one of the beautiful Red Sea beaches.

Evening: Depart from Hodeidah or continue your journey to other coastal cities like Aden or Mukalla.
