Turkey 3 Day Itinerary
Day 1: Istanbul
- Morning: Start your day with breakfast at a local café. Visit the Hagia Sophia, a historical architectural wonder that was originally a church, then a mosque, now a museum.
- Afternoon: Explore the Blue Mosque, located just next to Hagia Sophia. Afterward, take a stroll around the Sultanahmet Square, visit the Topkapi Palace and its treasury.
- Evening: Enjoy a traditional Turkish dinner at a local restaurant in the Beyoğlu district. Don’t miss the famous Galata Tower for a panoramic view of Istanbul.
Things to Know: Istanbul is a vibrant city with a rich history. The currency is Turkish Lira (TRY). English is widely spoken, especially in tourist areas.

Day 2: Cappadocia

- Evening: Relax in a traditional Turkish Hamam (bathhouse) and have dinner at a local restaurant.

Transportation: Flights from Istanbul to Cappadocia are available, or you can take an overnight bus. Once in Cappadocia, renting a scooter or car is convenient for exploring the region.
Day 3: Ephesus & Izmir
- Morning: Take a day trip to Ephesus and Izmir. Visit the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved classical cities in the eastern Mediterranean. Don’t miss the Library of Celsus and the Temple of Artemis.
- Afternoon: Explore the modern city of Izmir, visit the Kadifekale Castle for a panoramic view of the city, and shop at the vibrant Konak Square.
- Evening: Return to Istanbul or your next destination.
Things to Know: Ephesus is one of Turkey’s most popular tourist destinations, so arrive early to avoid crowds.
Transportation: Day trips to Ephesus can be arranged from Izmir or Kusadasi. You can fly to Izmir from Istanbul or take a bus directly to Kusadasi. Once at your destination, hire a local taxi or join a guided tour.
