Tonga 7-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nuku’alofa
- Arrive at Fua’amotu International Airport.
- Check into your hotel and rest.
- Visit the Tongan Royal Palace, the only palace in the South Pacific still lived in by a monarch.
- Explore the local market for authentic Tongan produce and handicrafts.
- Evening: Enjoy a traditional Tongan feast at a local restaurant.
Day 2: Nuku’alofa & Surroundings
- Visit the Talamahu Market to interact with locals and shop for souvenirs.
- Explore the Langi, ancient tombs of Tongan nobles.
- Take a relaxing swim at Cheese Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Nuku’alofa.
- Afternoon: Visit the Tongan Arts & Culture Centre to understand more about the country’s rich history and culture.
Day 3: Ha’apai Island
- Morning: Travel to Ha’apai Island by domestic flight or ferry.
- Spend the day relaxing on beautiful beaches like Fetuta Beach and Mango Bay.
- Explore the nearby island of Lifuka, home to the Swallows Cave and the ancient village of Mu’a.
Day 4: Vava’u Island
- Morning: Travel to Vava’u Island by domestic flight or ferry.
- Afternoon: Go swimming with whales (June - October) or explore the coral reefs by snorkeling or diving.

Day 5: Koa’a Island & ‘Ata Island
