Tbilisi Georgia 2 Day Itinerary
Day 1: Exploring Old Town Tbilisi
Morning:

Transportation:
- Tbilisi has an efficient public transportation system consisting of buses, trams, and the Metro. It’s also easy to get around by taxi, although be sure to agree on a price beforehand.
Day 2: Modern Tbilisi & Outdoor Activities
Morning:
- Breakfast at your hotel or try Patisserie Moulin for some delicious pastries.
- Visit the Aerial Tramway to reach Mtatsminda Park for a scenic view of Tbilisi and fun activities like a ferris wheel and roller coaster.
- Explore Freedom Square, the city’s central square, and nearby Rustaveli Avenue with its many museums, including the National Museum of Georgia.
Afternoon:
- Lunch at Dasapulia, a popular restaurant for Georgian barbecue (mtsvadi).
- Head to Vake Park for some relaxation and people watching, or join a guided hike up to Mtatsminda Mountain or the nearby Turtle Lake.
Evening:
- Dinner at Suliko, another great option for traditional Georgian cuisine.
- Visit Tbilisi Funicular and ride it up to Narikala Fortress one more time for a romantic sunset view over the city.
Things to know:
- Georgian currency is the Lari (GEL). It’s a good idea to exchange some money upon arrival.
- English is not widely spoken, so it may be helpful to learn a few basic phrases or use translation apps.
- Tbilisi can get quite hot in the summer and cold in the winter, so pack accordingly.

- Haggling is expected in markets and when negotiating taxi fares.
