Tajikistan 2 Day Itinerary
Day 1: Exploring Dushanbe

- Arrival at Dushanbe International Airport. (Know before you go: The airport is modern and has ATMs, cafes, and currency exchange.)
- Check-in at your hotel. (Recommendations: Hotel LGH Dushanbe or Somon Hostel)
- Visit Rudaki Park and see the Independence Monument - National Flag of Tajikistan.

- Explore National Museum of Tajikistan to learn about the country’s rich history and culture.
- Stroll around Louis Tulpark (Central Park) and enjoy a local lunch at one of the nearby cafes.
- Visit House of Parliament (Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli) and White House for impressive architecture.

- Dinner at Kukna Restaurant, where you can try traditional Tajik dishes like Shashlik, Obi Non, and Laghman.
Day 2: Adventure in the Pamir Highway

- Early breakfast and departure to Pamir Highway. (Travelers should know that the journey can be challenging due to the high altitude and rugged terrain. Make sure your vehicle is well prepared.)
- Stop at Sharo-Vaksh Valley for breathtaking views of the mountains and traditional Pamiri settlements.

Afternoon:
- Visit Khorog, the capital of Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast. (Points of interest: Khorog Central Bazaar, Botanical Garden, and the Mosque.)
- Continue along the Pamir Highway to Murgab - the highest permanently inhabited village in the world.

Evening:
- Overnight stay at a guesthouse or camping in Murgab. (Prepare for very cold nights as temperatures can drop significantly.)

Day 3 onwards:
- Depending on your itinerary, explore further destinations along the Pamir Highway such as Karakul Lake, Bulunkul, and Wakhan Valley.
- Return journey to Dushanbe or continue onto Kyrgyzstan through the border crossing at Kyzyl-Art Pass.
Visa Requirements:
- Most travelers need a visa to enter Tajikistan. Tourist visas can be obtained from the Embassy of Tajikistan in your home country or upon arrival for citizens of some countries. Check the latest requirements at www.evisa.tj for online e-visa applications.
Transportation:
- Renting a car with a driver is highly recommended due to the challenging road conditions along the Pamir Highway. Book your car in advance through local travel agencies or arrange it at your hotel in Dushanbe.
