Switzerland 7-Day Itinerary (Markdown Format)

Day 1: Arrival & Zurich City Exploration

  • Arrive at Zurich Airport. (Visa Requirements: Schengen Visa for some nationalities, check if necessary)
  • Check into your hotel and freshen up.
  • Visit the Old Town (Altstadt), Bahnhofstrasse, and Grossmünster.
  • Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Zurich in the evening.
  • Dinner at one of the local restaurants offering Swiss cuisine.

Day 2: Lucerne & Mt. Titlis

  • Morning train ride to Lucerne (approximately 45 minutes from Zurich).
  • Explore Chapel Bridge, Lion Monument, and stroll along the lakefront.
  • Take a full-day trip to Mount Titlis including ice caving, cable car rides, and snow tubing.
  • Return to Lucerne in the evening and enjoy dinner.

Day 3: Interlaken - Jungfraujoch (Top of Europe)

  • Take a scenic train journey from Interlaken to Jungfraujoch. (Journey takes approximately 2 hours)
  • Visit Sphinx Observatory, Ice Palace, and enjoy the breathtaking views.
  • Lunch at the restaurant on top of the Jungfrau.
  • Return to Interlaken in the evening and relax.

Day 4: Grindelwald - First Cliff Walk by Tissot

  • Head to Grindelwald and take a cable car up to the Birg station.
  • Experience the thrilling Cliff Walk by Tissot, a suspension bridge that juts out from the cliff.
  • Enjoy panoramic views of the Eiger North Face.
  • Descend and spend the evening exploring Grindelwald’s charming village.

Day 5: Lauterbrunnen Valley & Trummelbach Falls

  • Visit the stunning Lauterbrunnen Valley, known for its seven roaring waterfalls.
  • Take a hike to the Trummelbach Falls, located inside a mountain and formed by melting glacier water.
  • Spend the afternoon relaxing or engaging in adventure activities like paragliding or canyoning.

Day 6: St. Moritz - Engadin Valley

  • Travel to the upscale resort town of St. Moritz in the Engadin Valley by train. (Approximately 2 hours from Interlaken)
  • Explore Lake St. Moritz, Corviglia Funicular, and shopping at Via Serlas.
  • Relax at one of the local spas or try out a variety of adventure sports like skiing, snowboarding, or horse-drawn sleigh rides.

Day 7: Rhine Falls & Departure

  • On your last day, visit the breathtaking Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen.
  • Take a boat tour to get up close and personal with Europe’s largest waterfall.
  • Return to Zurich for your departure flight or extend your stay if desired.
