Swaziland 3-Day Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Exploring Mbabane & Hlane Royal National Park

- Arrival at King Mswati III International Airport, Mbabane.
- Check-in at your hotel and freshen up.

- Visit the Mbabane City Centre for shopping and sightseeing. Don’t miss the Independence Square, Swaziland National Museum & Ethnographical Museum.
- Lunch at a local restaurant (Recommendations: Piggs Peak Hotel or The Green Mamba).

- Head to Hlane Royal National Park for a late afternoon safari drive. Spend the night spotting the Big Five.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Hlane’s Bush Camp or Ngidi Camp.
Day 2: Swazi Culture & Mantenga Nature Reserve

- Breakfast at your lodge.
- Drive to the Ezulwini Valley, known as ‘Valley of Heaven’, for a visit to the Swazi Candle Workshop and Swazi Traditional Arts & Crafts Market.

Afternoon:
- Lunch at Mantenga Lodge Restaurant.
- Explore Mantenga Nature Reserve, enjoy the waterfalls and traditional Swazi dancing performance.
- Afternoon tea at the lodge or explore Ezulwini Valley’s other attractions like the Swazi Cultural Village.

Evening:
- Drive back to Mbabane for dinner at a local restaurant (Recommendations: The Royal Villa Boutique Hotel & Spa or Santebar).
- Overnight stay at your hotel in Mbabane.
Day 3: Lobamba & Departure

- Breakfast at your hotel.
- Drive to Lobamba, the administrative capital of Swaziland and visit the King’s House (Only on Tuesdays and Thursdays).
- Learn about Swazi history and culture at the Libertate House Museum.

Afternoon:
- Lunch in Mbabane.
- Last-minute shopping or sightseeing depending on your flight schedule.

- Departure from King Mswati III International Airport, Mbabane.
Things to Know:
- Swaziland’s official currency is the Swazi Lilangeni (SZL). Major credit cards are widely accepted in hotels and some shops.
- The local language is SiSwati, but English is widely spoken.
- Tap water is safe to drink in cities and towns, but it’s always good to ask locals before consuming.
- Swaziland has a tropical climate with summer (October to March) being hot and wet, while winter (April to September) is cool and dry.
