Six-Day Stockholm Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & City Orientation
Activities:
- Arrive at Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN).
- Take the Arlanda Express train to Stockholm Central Station (approx. 20 minutes).
- Check-in at your preferred accommodation. Recommended: Hotel Rival, located in the heart of the city.
- Familiarize yourself with the city by taking a leisurely walk around Gamla Stan (Old Town), exploring its narrow streets and colorful buildings.
- Visit the Nobel Museum to learn about the history of the Nobel Prize.
- End the day with a stunning view of Stockholm at the SkyView observation deck.

Day 2: Modern Stockholm & Vasa Museum

- Head to Stockholm Arlanda Airport for your departure.
Transportation:
- Stockholm has an extensive public transportation system. Purchase a Stockholm Pass or SL card for unlimited travel during your stay.
- Travel by tram, bus, metro, boat (SL), and even bike (City Bikes) to get around the city.
Things to Know:
- Swedish people are generally polite and reserved. Remember to say “Tack” (thank you) and “Åhöriga dig” (excuse me).
- Sweden is known for its design, so don’t forget to pick up some unique souvenirs.
- The Swedish currency is the Swedish krona (SEK). Credit cards are widely accepted, but it’s always a good idea to carry cash.
