South Africa 3 Day Itinerary
Day 1: Exploring Johannesburg & Soweto

Morning: Arrive at O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg. Get your South African Sim Card (Vodacom or MTN) for data connectivity. Collect your pre-booked rental car from the airport.

Late Morning: Visit the Apartheid Museum to gain insight into South Africa’s tumultuous past.

Afternoon: Head to Soweto, a vibrant township full of history and culture. Explore Vilakazi Street where two Nobel Peace Prize laureates, Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, once lived. Have lunch at the famous Mama’s Gold restaurant.

Evening: Visit the Mandela House Museum. Enjoy an authentic African dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Wildlife Safari at Kruger National Park

Morning: Depart early for Kruger National Park, a premier safari destination. Drive your rental car or join a guided tour.

Afternoon: Spend the day game driving and searching for the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo). Remember to stop at the various lookout points and rest camps for meals and refreshments.

Evening: Stay overnight at a lodge inside Kruger National Park or near its gates. Enjoy a traditional African Boma dinner around a campfire.
Day 3: Panorama Route & Departure

Morning: After an early breakfast, head towards the Panorama Route. Drive along the Blyde River Canyon and see God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and the Three Rondavels.

Afternoon: Continue to Graskop for lunch. Explore the area before heading back to Johannesburg.

Evening: Return your rental car at O.R. Tambo International Airport. Check-in for your flight home.
