Day 3: Jazira Island - Mogadishu - Baidoa

Things to Know
- Visa: A visa is required for most nationalities. Apply well in advance through the Somali Embassy in your country.
- Currency: The official currency is the Somali Shilling (SOS).
- Language: Somali is the official language, but English is widely spoken.
- Health: Vaccinations are recommended for typhoid, hepatitis A and B, rabies, and yellow fever. Malaria prophylaxis is also advisable.
- Transportation: Taxis and local buses are common, but car rental is also available.
- Safety: Exercise caution, especially in crowded areas or at night. Always follow the advice of your tour guide or hotel staff.
- Electricity: The electrical current is 220V/50Hz with a Type C and D socket. Bring an adapter if necessary.
