5-Day Itinerary for Exploring Solomon Islands

Day 1: Arrival and Honiara City Tour

  • The official language is English, but Pidgin English is widely spoken.
  • The currency used in Solomon Islands is the Solomon Islands Dollar (SBD).
  • The power sockets used are Type I. If you’re bringing electrical devices, make sure they support this type of socket or bring an adapter.

Transportation: Taxis and local buses are available for transportation within Honiara. You can also rent a car if you prefer self-driving.
