Day 1: Freetown (Arrival & City Exploration)

  • Arrive at Siaka Stevens International Airport in Freetown.
  • Check into your hotel and rest after the flight.
  • Visit Cotton Tree, a historical site where the Sierra Leone Creole community gathered to resist British rule in 1792.
  • Stroll along Lumley Beach Road and enjoy local street food at Lumley Beach.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant like Mama Sal’s or Ticket Restaurant & Bar.
  • Things to know: Sierra Leone uses the Leones (SLL) as its currency. English is widely spoken.

Day 2: Freetown - Turtle Islands
