Seychelles 3-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Exploring Mahé
Visa Requirements: Seychelles allows visa-free travel for citizens of over 150 countries, including most Western and Eastern European countries, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. However, it’s always best to check the current status on the official Seychelles Ministry of Foreign Affairs website before travel.
Transportation: The main international airport is located on Mahé, where most flights arrive. Taxis and car rentals are available at the airport. A local SIM card can be purchased for mobile internet access.
Morning:
- Victoria, the capital city: Visit the Seychelles National Botanical Gardens to see a variety of unique flora, including the iconic Coco de Mer palm. Explore Victoria’s colorful markets, such as Sir Selwyn Clarke Market and Spice Market.
Afternoon:
- Beaches on Mahé: Head to Beau Vallon or Baie Tamarin for crystal-clear waters and beautiful beach scenery. Enjoy lunch at one of the nearby beachfront restaurants.
Evening:
- Sunset at Morne Seychellois National Park: Take a guided hike up Morne Seychellois, the highest peak on Mahé, for stunning sunset views.
Day 2: Praslin Island
Transportation: Ferry services are available from Mahé to Praslin Island. Book in advance to secure your spot.
Morning:
- Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this is where you can see the famous Coco de Mer palm and other unique plant species found only in the Seychelles.
Afternoon:
- Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette: These are two of Praslin’s most beautiful beaches, with turquoise waters and white sand. Relax, swim, or snorkel to see colorful marine life.
Evening:
- Fischkanteen: Enjoy a seafood dinner at this popular restaurant on Praslin Island.
Day 3: La Digue Island
Transportation: Catamarans and ferries run regularly from Praslin to La Digue Island. Book in advance, especially if you plan to return the same day.
Morning:
- Anse Source d’Argent: This stunning beach is known for its unique granite rock formations and pristine white sands. Take plenty of photos!
Afternoon:
