Rabat, Morocco 7-Day Itinerary (Markdown Format)

Day 1: Arrival & Exploring the City Center

Arrival: Kasbah Oudaya Airport or Rabat–Salé Airport. Take a taxi to your chosen accommodation.
Accommodation: Riad Yasmine, Hotel Le Corail, or similar (Book in advance for best rates)
Lunch: Café Maure - Traditional Moroccan food with a view of the medina
Afternoon: Visit the Oudaya Kasbah, explore the beautiful gardens and shop for local artisanal goods.
Evening: Stroll along the Rue des Consuls in the new town, enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants offering Moroccan and international cuisine.

Morning: Visit the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Admire the stunning architecture.
Lunch: Le Foundouk - A restaurant with a rich history, offering both Moroccan and French dishes.
Afternoon: Explore the Chez Driss Museum for a glimpse into traditional Moroccan life.
Evening: Relax at Beach Agdal or Océanopolis, Rabat’s aquarium and marine park.

Morning: Take the train from Rabat-Ville station to Casablanca (about 1 hour).
Full Day: Explore Hassan II Mosque, Rick’s Cafe, and the bustling markets of Casablanca. Return to Rabat in the evening.

Morning: Visit Rabat Océanographic Museum and Kenitra Bird Reserve (day trip).
Afternoon: Enjoy a leisurely afternoon at Plage de Sok el Ahras, or relax at your accommodation’s pool.
Dinner: Le Bistrot du Maroc - French-Moroccan fusion cuisine in a charming atmosphere.

Morning: Visit the Medina of Rabat for shopping and exploring local markets, souks, and artisan workshops.
Lunch: La Maison Rouge - A popular restaurant in the medina offering Moroccan cuisine.

Afternoon: Return to Rabat, rest, and prepare for departure.

Departure: Check out from your accommodation and head to Kasbah Oudaya Airport or Rabat–Salé Airport for your flight home.

Taxis are readily available, but trains and buses offer a more affordable way to travel within Rabat and to neighboring cities like Casablanca.

Haggling is expected in markets and souks.
Always have small change on hand for tipping.
Modest dress is appreciated, especially when visiting religious sites.
