Day 1 - Arrival & Old San Juan
- Arrive at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU)
- Check-in at a hotel in the historic district of Old San Juan (Recommended: El Convento, La Casa Blanca or Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel & Casino)
- Explore the colorful streets of Old San Juan and its historic forts: El Morro and San Cristobal.
- Enjoy local cuisine at Santaella Restaurant or Oleá Puerto Rico.
Day 2 - Isla Verde Beach & Bioluminescent Bay (Fajardo)
- Spend the morning relaxing on Isla Verde Beach, known for its calm waters and lively atmosphere.
- Afternoon: Visit Luquillo’s Luquillo Beach and explore El Yunque Rainforest (the only tropical rainforest in the US National Forest System).
- Evening: Take a night tour to see the BioBay in Fajardo, where microscopic dinoflagellates emit light when disturbed.
Day 3 - Caribbean Coast & Camuy Cave Park
- Head towards Arecibo and visit the famous Arecibo Observatory (telescope).
- Afterward, continue to Camuy Cave Park, home to the third largest underground cave system in the world.
- Spend the night in Arecibo or nearby city of Hatillo.
Day 4 - Ponce & Parque de los Árboles (the Tree Park)
- Travel south to Ponce, known as “La Perla del Sur” (The Pearl of the South). Visit the Sagrado Corazón Cathedral and Hacienda San Jay Yankee Plantation.
- In the afternoon, explore Parque de los Árboles in the El Yunque Forest, where you can see the unique “ceiba” trees and enjoy breathtaking views of the rainforest.
Day 5 - Vieques & Mosquito Bay
- Take a ferry to Vieques Island (ferries depart from Fajardo).
- Spend the day relaxing on one of the island’s beautiful beaches, such as Balneario Sun Bay or Media Luna.
- Visit Mosquito Bay in the evening for another bioluminescent bay experience.
Day 6 - Culebra Island & Flamenco Beach
- Take a ferry to Culebra Island (ferries depart from Fajardo).
- Spend the day soaking up the sun at Flamenco Beach, considered one of the best beaches in the world.
- Explore the town of Dewey and enjoy local seafood.
Day 7 - Departure
- Spend your last hours shopping for souvenirs or relaxing before departing from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU).
