Day 1: Arrival & Settling In
- Arrive at Pitcairn Island via yacht or boat (the only way to reach the island). You’ll be welcomed by the locals and checked-in at the only accommodation option, the Pitcairn Islands Community Camp.
- Spend the rest of the day getting acquainted with your surroundings and the local culture. Visit the Bounty Store and Museum to learn about the island’s history, particularly the Mutiny on the Bounty.
- Enjoy a traditional Pitcairn Island meal at the community hall, where meals are often shared communally.
Day 2: Exploring Adamstown
- Spend your morning exploring Adamstown, the world’s smallest capital city. Visit the Post Office and St. Paul’s Church.
- In the afternoon, participate in a traditional craft session or join the locals for a game of cricket if schedules align.
- Don’t miss out on the stunning views from Gunn Hill, accessible by a short walk or car ride.
Day 3: Beaches & Swimming
- Spend the day at Bounty Beach, the island’s most famous beach. Relax, swim, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
- Visit Lower Mutiny Beach for a more secluded experience. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife, including Pitcairn Island Rats (Rattus exulans pitcairniae), which are endemic to the island.
Day 4: Hiking & Nature
- Embark on a hike to the top of Taravai Hill for breathtaking views of the island and its surrounding waters.
- Visit the Pitcairn Island National Park, home to many unique plant species and birdlife. Be sure to follow local guidelines to preserve this beautiful environment.
Day 5: Fishing & Cooking Class
- Spend the day fishing with a local guide. Catch your own dinner and enjoy the fresh seafood later in the day.
- Participate in a traditional Pitcairn Island cooking class and learn how to prepare your catch using island recipes.
Day 6: Rest & Relaxation
- Take a day to relax and unwind. Visit the local cemetery, which offers a unique insight into the island’s history.
- Spend some time at the community hall playing games or participating in cultural activities with the locals.
Day 7: Departure
- On your final day, enjoy one last breakfast with the locals before packing up and saying goodbye to this unique and beautiful island.
- Depart Pitcairn Island, taking memories of its beauty, culture, and friendly people with you.

- The only way to reach Pitcairn Island is by boat or yacht. Contact the Pitcairn Island government for more information on transportation options.
- There is no ATM on the island, so bring enough cash for your stay.
- Visitors are required to register with the local authorities upon arrival.
- Mobile phone coverage is limited; consider renting a satellite phone or using a satphone app for communication.
- Electricity is supplied by generators, which may be shut off during certain hours for maintenance or conservation.
- The Pitcairn Islands Community Camp is the only accommodation option on the island. Book well in advance to secure your stay.
