Panama 6-Day Itinerary: Exploring the Rich Biodiversity and Cultural Wonders

Day 1: Arrival in Panama City & Casco Viejo

  • Arrive at Tocumen International Airport, Panama City. (Visa Requirements)
  • Transfer to your hotel for check-in and freshen up.
  • Visit the historic district of Casco Viejo - a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with colorful colonial buildings, lively plazas, and vibrant street art.
  • Dinner at one of the local restaurants offering Panamanian cuisine.

Day 2: Panama City Sightseeing

  • Morning visit to Panama Canal Miraflores Locks Visitor Center for a chance to witness the massive ships passing through the canal.
  • Afternoon exploration of Modern Panama City, including the Financial District and Ancon Hill for panoramic views of the city and the Pacific Ocean.
  • Evening at leisure in the city or opt for a traditional dance show with dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Gatun Lake & Soberania National Park

Day 4: Boquete & El Valle de Antón

  • Early morning transfer to Albrook Airport (PAC) for a flight to David (Transportation).

  • Spend the afternoon exploring El Valle de Antón, a beautiful valley surrounded by volcanic crater walls. Visit the Los Naranjos Waterfall and enjoy the local cuisine at one of the restaurants.

Day 5: Boquete Activities

  • Morning hike to the Pipeline Trail for breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes, including Volcán Barú.

Day 6: San Blas Islands & Departure

  • Transfer back to David and catch a flight to Porvenir (Transportation).
