Palestine 4-Day Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Ramallah & Bethlehem
- Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport (Israel) - Since Palestine doesn’t have an international airport, you will need to cross into the West Bank from Israel.
- Transfer to Ramallah - Rent a car or hire a taxi to travel approximately 1 hour from the border to Ramallah, the administrative center of the Palestinian Authority.
Activities:
- Visit Mada al-Carmel, a cultural and intellectual hub in Palestine.
- Explore the bustling Ramallah Souk (market) for traditional Palestinian goods.
- Stop by Bir Zeit University campus, offering beautiful landscapes and a glimpse into local student life.
Accommodation: Overnight in Ramallah at a local guesthouse or hotel.
Day 2: Bethlehem & Hebron
Activities:
- Head to Bethlehem (~30 min drive from Ramallah), visiting the Church of the Nativity, where Jesus is said to have been born.
- Explore the vibrant Bethlehem Souk for souvenirs and local cuisine.
- In the afternoon, travel to Hebron (~45 min drive from Bethlehem). Visit Ibrahimi Mosque, a significant religious site for Muslims and Jews.
- Stop by Beit Rahmeh Peace Center, promoting nonviolence and reconciliation between Palestinians and Israelis.
Accommodation: Overnight in Bethlehem at a local guesthouse or hotel.
Day 3: Jericho & the Dead Sea
Activities:
- Drive to Jericho (~1 hour from Bethlehem), the oldest city in the world. Visit Tel es-Sultan archaeological site and explore the town’s markets.
- Travel to the Dead Sea (~20 min drive from Jericho) for a float experience in the salty waters. Don’t forget to bring water shoes!
- Relax at one of the nearby hotels with Dead Sea views.

Day 4: Nablus & Jenin
Activities:
- Head to Nablus (~1 hour from the Dead Sea) and visit Old City’s Souk, known for its traditional Palestinian goods such as soap, olive oil, and spices.
- Explore the historic Khan al-Ahmar Bedouin village, a symbol of local resistance against Israeli settlement expansion.
- On your way to Jenin, stop by Jacob’s Well, a biblical site located in the city of Nablus.
- Visit the Jenin Refugee Camp Museum to learn about the history and culture of Palestinians living as refugees.
Departure: Transfer back to Ben Gurion Airport (Israel) for your departure flight.
