Palau 3 Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Rock Islands

Welcome to Palau! Upon arrival at Roman Tmetuchl International Airport, you’ll need a passport valid for at least six months from the date of entry and an onward/return ticket. Some nationalities may require a visa, so it’s best to check before your trip.

• Transportation: Taxis are readily available outside the airport. Alternatively, pre-book a car rental or arrange for hotel pickup.

Morning: Settle into your accommodation and freshen up.

Afternoon: Visit the Palau National Museum to learn about the islands’ history and culture.

Evening: Take a boat tour to the famous Rock Islands, known for their stunning limestone formations, crystal-clear waters, and rich marine life. Don’t miss Milton Warm Freshwater Spring inside one of the Rock Islands.

Day 2: Jellyfish Lake & Kayak in the Mangroves

Morning: Visit Jellyfish Lake, a unique body of water where thousands of non-venomous jellyfish swim. Snorkeling gear is provided, but remember to respect these fascinating creatures!

Afternoon: Explore the Palau’s mangrove forests by kayak. The Angaur Mangrove Forest offers a peaceful paddling experience and is home to various bird species.

Evening: Relax at a local beach like Turtle Beach, where you might spot Green Sea Turtles if lucky!

Day 3: WWII Sites & Coral Reef Snorkeling

Morning: Visit the Palau Victory Office to learn about the islands’ role in World War II and visit some of the notable sites, such as Peleliu.

Afternoon: Go snorkeling at one of Palau’s famous coral reefs. The German Channel, off the coast of Babeldaob Island, is popular for its diverse marine life.

Evening: Enjoy a traditional Palauan dinner at a local restaurant. Don’t forget to try the delicious ‘Kelaguan,’ a coconut cream dessert made from fruit bat soup!

Before Departure: Spend your last hours exploring local shops for souvenirs, or relax on the beach before saying goodbye to this beautiful destination. Safe travels!
