Northern Mariana Islands 6-Day Itinerary
(Please note: This itinerary assumes you’ll be staying on Saipan, the largest island in the Northern Marianas. If you plan to visit other islands like Tinian or Rota, adjust your schedule accordingly.)
Day 1: Arrival and Beach Relaxation
- Arrive at Francisco C. Ada/Saipan International Airport (SPN)
- Check-in at your hotel and freshen up
- Visit Microbe Brewing Co. for a taste of local beer
- Spend the afternoon at Tanapag Beach Park, enjoy swimming and snorkeling
- Evening: Dine at a local restaurant like Taste of Saipan or Two Sons Chinese Seafood Restaurant
- Tip: Be aware of the Chamorro time (island time), things tend to run later here!
Day 2: Saipan Island Exploration
- Morning: Visit the American Memorial Park, learn about WWII history and enjoy the beautiful gardens
- Afternoon: Discover the Garapan Village with its unique shops and restaurants; don’t miss the Spanish bridge and Latte Stone Park
- Evening: Enjoy a sunset at Dandan Beach or Managaha Island (day trip)
- Optional: Experience the nightlife at places like Club 21 or Catch a Wave Sports Bar
Day 3: Adventure Day
- Morning: Go zip-lining at Taga Tasi Zipline Adventure Park or explore the Kagman Cultural Preserve
- Afternoon: Visit the Saipan World War II Museum to learn more about the island’s history
- Evening: Relax and unwind at your hotel or head to a spa for some pampering
Day 4: Genuine Cultural Experience
- Morning: Visit the Chamorro Village, an authentic marketplace offering local food, crafts, and cultural performances
- Afternoon: Explore the Marianas Trench National Monument Visitor Center to learn about the deepest part of the world’s ocean

Day 5: Saipan’s Natural Wonders
- Morning: Hike Suicide Cliff, also known as Banzai Cliff, for breathtaking views (avoid jumping!)
- Afternoon: Visit the Saipan Faustino A. Pereira III Conservation Center to see the endemic bird, Marianas Flycatcher
- Evening: Spend your last evening on Saipan at a beautiful spot like the Secret Beach or the Scuba Diver Statue
- Tip: Don’t forget to try kelaguen, a local dish made from chicken and coconut, before you leave!
Day 6: Departure
- Spend your last few hours exploring any areas you may have missed or doing some last-minute shopping for souvenirs
- Head to Francisco C. Ada/Saipan International Airport (SPN) for your departure flight home
