Northern Mariana Islands 2-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Saipan Exploration
Morning:
- Arrival at the Francisco C. Ada/Saipan International Airport. (Visitors need a valid passport and onward/return ticket.)
- Transfer to your hotel for check-in and freshen up.
- Start your day with a traditional Chamorro breakfast at one of the local cafes or restaurants.
Afternoon:
- Visit the American Memorial Park, a historical site commemorating the Battle of Saipan during World War II. Stroll around the park’s lush tropical gardens and beaches.
- Head to Banzai Cliff, offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and a poignant reminder of the WWII battle.
- Explore the Tanapag Municipal Pool, a refreshing oasis in the tropical heat.
Evening:

Day 2: Rota Island Adventure
Morning:
- Transfer to the Saipan Port for a short ferry ride to Rota Island (Ferries operate from Monday to Saturday).
- Visit Song Song Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Northern Mariana Islands. Snorkel or simply enjoy the crystal-clear waters and white sands.
Afternoon:
- Head to Taga Fields for a unique hike through lush green hills with panoramic views of the island.
- Visit the Rota Historic Site, which offers insight into the Chamorro culture and the island’s history.
Evening:
- Return to Saipan in the evening.
- Dine at Two Lovers Point Restaurant, offering a romantic atmosphere and delicious seafood options.
- End your day with a visit to The Grotto, a beautiful limestone cave filled with bioluminescent plankton (visible from November to January).
