Day 1 - Arrival & Nouméa Exploration (Noumea)

Arrival at La Tontouta International Airport (ALN): Located about 50km south of Nouméa, this is the main airport in New Caledonia. Transfer to Nouméa (Transport): Taxis and car rental services are available at the airport. Alternatively, you can book a shuttle service in advance. Once in Nouméa, explore the city by foot or rent a bike for a leisurely pace.

Visit Anse Vata Beach & Baie des Citrons (Activities): These are two of the most popular beaches in Nouméa, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports. Enjoy local cuisine at one of the many restaurants along Anse Vata.

Explore the City (Things to know): Wander through the vibrant Marché de la Rivière Salée, visit the Musée de la Ville de Nouméa for a glimpse into New Caledonia’s history, and check out the Maison du Gouvernement for stunning views of the city.
Day 2 - Ouvea Island (Ouvea)

Transfer to the Dumbéa Ferry Terminal (Transport): Ferries depart daily from Nouméa to Ouvea Island. The journey takes approximately 4 hours. Remember to bring sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable walking shoes.

Explore the Island (Activities): Rent bicycles or scooters to explore the island’s beautiful beaches, lagoons, and traditional Kanak villages. Don’t miss the stunning Lagon de Sarramea, a natural pool formed by the sea and coral reef.

Visit the Traditional Kanak Village (Things to know): Learn about the local culture and traditions from the friendly Kanak residents in one of the villages on Ouvea Island.
Day 3 - Pointe Canon & Koumac (Koumac)

Transfer to Koumac (Transport): Take a ferry or a flight from Nouméa to Koumac. Flights are available multiple times a week, while the ferry takes around 7 hours.

Visit Pointe Canon (Activities): This natural wonder offers breathtaking views of the coral reef and the lagoon. Hike down to the beautiful beach below, perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

Explore Koumac (Things to know): Wander through the picturesque town, visit the local market, and learn about the area’s history at the Musée du Grand Nord.
Day 4 - Aïnse & Prony Rivers (Prony)

Transfer to Prony (Transport): Rent a car or arrange for a guided tour to explore the stunning Aïnse and Prony rivers. The drive takes about 2 hours from Koumac.

Explore the Rivers & Waterfalls (Activities): Take a boat trip up the rivers, admire the beautiful scenery, and swim in the crystal-clear waters at the base of the waterfalls.
