Nepal 7-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

  • Flights: Fly into Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) from your home country. Ensure you have a valid passport and onward travel documents.
  • Visa: Upon arrival, obtain a Tourist Visa for Nepal. The cost varies based on duration (15 days - $30 USD; 30 days - $50 USD; 90 days - $125 USD). You can also get a visa online before your trip.
  • Transportation: From the airport, take a prepaid taxi to your hotel. The ride should cost around $15-$20 USD.
  • Lodging: Stay in Thamel, a tourist-friendly neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops.
  • Activities: Spend the rest of the day exploring local markets and temples such as Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

  • Transportation: Rent a bike or hire a driver for the day to visit various sites around Kathmandu Valley.
