Namibia 2 Day Itinerary
Day 1: Windhoek & Surroundings
Morning:
- Arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, Windhoek. (Visit visasmarter.com for Namibia visa requirements.)
- Check-in at your accommodation in Windhoek.
- Visit the Christ Church, Independence Memorial Museum, and Daan Viljoen Game Reserve. (Entrance fees apply.)
Afternoon:
- Lunch at Joe’s Beerhouse, a local favorite.
- Explore the Craft Centre for authentic Namibian handicrafts.
Evening:
- Dinner at a restaurant of your choice in Windhoek.
- Rest and prepare for the next day.
Day 2: Spreetshoogte Pass & Etosha National Park
Morning:
- Depart early from Windhoek towards the famous Spreetshoogte Pass, enjoying the beautiful landscapes along the way.
Afternoon:
- Arrive at Etosha National Park and begin your self-drive safari. (Entrance fee is N$80 per vehicle.)
- Explore the park’s wildlife-rich areas such as Okaukuejo, Namutoni, or Halali. Don’t forget to bring binoculars!
Evening:
- Have dinner at one of the park’s restcamps.
- Continue your nocturnal safari and spot animals like rhinos, lions, and hyenas.
Transportation:
- Car rental companies such as Avis, Hertz, or Europcar are available for exploring Namibia at your own pace. Alternatively, guided tours can be booked through operators like Gondwana Collection or Safari Tours.
