Day 1: Arrival & Check-in
- Upon arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED), proceed to your hotel in the Holy Circumference (Haramain Shareefain) area. Recommended hotels include Mövenpick Hotel Mecca, InterContinental Mecca, and Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre.
- Check-in, freshen up, and rest for a while.
- Things to Know: Dress modestly and respectfully. Women should wear an Abaya (long black robe) and a headscarf in public areas outside the hotel. Men should also dress modestly.
Day 2: Visit the Grand Mosque - Masjid al-Haram
- Start your day early by having breakfast at your hotel or a local café, such as Al Bairaq or Al Baik.
- Head to the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram). Perform Umrah (if applicable) and explore its vast premises.
- Tip: Use the Haramain High Speed Train for easy transportation between Mecca’s main holy sites.
Day 3: Jabal al-Rahmah & Jannat al-Baqi’
- After breakfast, visit Jabal al-Rahmah (Mount of Mercy), where the Prophet Muhammad is said to have given his last sermon.
- Next, head to Jannat al-Baqi’ (the Baqi’ Graveyard) to pay respects to numerous family members and companions of the Prophet Muhammad.
- For lunch, try local dishes at Al Madina Restaurant or Al Faisaliah Hotel restaurant.
Day 4: Visit Mina, Arafat & Muzdalifah
- This day is dedicated to performing Hajj rituals (if applicable). Transportation will be provided by your travel agency.
- Return to Mecca in the evening and have dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 5: Explore Meccan Clock Tower & Souks
- After breakfast, visit the iconic Meccan Clock Tower, the world’s largest clock face.
- Spend the afternoon exploring Mecca’s vibrant souks (markets), such as Al-Basheer Street and Al-Masjid street, where you can find traditional Saudi Arabian handicrafts, textiles, and jewelry.
- Enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant before resting for the next day.
Day 6: Departure
- Have breakfast at your hotel and check out by noon.
- Transfer back to King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) for your flight home.
