Maldives 7-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Explore Male City
- Arrive at Velana International Airport (MLE) and complete immigration formalities.
- Take a Speedboat or Sea Plane transfer to your resort island (depends on the location of your resort).
- Settle into your resort and freshen up.
- Visit Male City: Explore the National Museum, local markets, fish market, and the iconic mosque - Grand Friday Mosque (open only for non-Muslim tourists after 9 am).
- In the evening, enjoy a traditional Maldivian dinner at your resort.
Day 2: Island Hopping & Snorkeling
- Morning snorkeling trip to explore the vibrant marine life around your resort.
- Afternoon island hopping tour: Visit nearby islands, enjoy beach activities, and experience Maldivian culture.
- Evening back at your resort, relax on the beach or indulge in spa treatments.
Day 3: Day Trip to Maafushi Island
- Take a speedboat to Maafushi Island (approximately 1 hour from Male).
- Explore the local life, visit Ba’aafathi Kandeyo mosque, and enjoy water sports like jet-skiing, parasailing, or banana boat rides.
- Return to your resort in the evening.
Day 4: Sunset Dolphin Watching & Night Fishing
- Embark on a sunset dolphin watching trip. Spotting bottlenose and spinner dolphins is common.
- Evening fishing trip with local fishermen (some resorts offer this activity).
- Enjoy your catch of the day for dinner at your resort.
Day 5: Day Trip to Hulhumale & Artificial Beach
- Take a ferry to Hulhumale Island (approx. 15 minutes from Male).
- Explore the artificial beach, shopping areas, and local cafes.
- Return to your resort in the evening.
Day 6: Spa Day & Sunset Cruise
- Indulge in a traditional Maldivian spa treatment at your resort.
- Late afternoon sunset cruise with dinner on board. Enjoy live music, star gazing, and dolphin spotting.
Day 7: Departure
- Spend the morning relaxing or indulging in last-minute activities.
- Check-out from your resort and transfer back to Velana International Airport for your flight home.

- Maldives is a Muslim country, so it’s important to respect local customs and traditions.
- The official language is Dhivehi, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas.
- USD is accepted in most resorts, but the local currency is Rufiyaa.
- Electricity: 230V AC, 50Hz, usually two pin plugs.
- Visa: Most nationalities do not require a visa for stays under 30 days. Check your specific country’s requirements before travel.
- Transportation: Speedboats and Sea Planes are common modes of transport in the Maldives. They are included in the package price when staying at a resort, but prices can vary for day trips or island hopping.
