Madagascar 5-Day Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo (Tana) - City Exploration

  • Activities: After your arrival at Ivato International Airport, Tana, rest and acclimate. Later, explore the capital city’s attractions like the Royal Palace, Andranikafy Street Market, and the National Museum of Madagascar.
  • Things to know: Malagasy is the official language, but French and English are also commonly spoken. The currency is the Ariary (MGA).

Day 2: Antananarivo to Andasibe (Vakona Forest) - Lemur Spotting

  • Activities: Travel to Andasibe, home of the Indri lemurs. Visit the Vakona Forest Reserve and Lemur Island for a close encounter with these magnificent creatures. Explore Mantadia National Park and Perinet Special Reserve.

Day 3: Andasibe to Antsiranana (Diego Suarez)
