Luxor 6-Day Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Temple of Karnak

  • Accommodation: Luxor is filled with hotels catering to all budgets. Some popular choices include the Sofitel Winter Palace, Steigenberger Nile Palace, and budget-friendly options like The Gardens Hotel Luxor.
  • Transportation: Taxis are readily available from Luxor International Airport. Alternatively, you can book a private transfer in advance.
  • Activities: Visit the Temple of Karnak, one of the most significant Ancient Egyptian religious sites and the largest temple complex ever built. It’s open daily from 6 AM to 5 PM.
  • Tips: Wear appropriate clothing (cover shoulders and knees) and bring a hat, water, and sunscreen.

Day 2: Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Temple
